Chronicles of the Host

Lucifer, the anointed cherub, whose ministry in heaven is devoted to the worship of the Most High God, has become pessimistic about his prospects in heaven. Ambition inflamed, he looks to the soon-to-be-created Earth as a place where he can see his destiny realized. With a willing crew of equally ambitious angels, Lucifer creates a fifth-column of malcontents under the very throne of God. Hot on their heels, however, is a group of loyalists, led by Michael and Gabriel, who are suspicious of Lucifer's true motives.

The prophetic clock is ticking. Lucifer and his army of imps search frantically for the prophetic "Seed of the woman". The memory of God's promise that this seed would rise up and crush the serpent's head stirs them to shadowy demonic activity.

The Chronicles saga continues as Israel establishes herself in the land of promise, in spite of the unholy efforts of Lucifer. A satanic shift in strategy occurs as Lucifer forsakes the simple elimination of one family that might carry the Seed. Now he is determined to bring down the whole nation. He is obsessed in his efforts to prevent the appearing of this mysterious Seed.

With the long-dreaded Seed of the woman delivered at Bethlehem, the prophecy of the Coming One has now been fulfilled. Lucifer realizes that any hope to win the war is slipping away and decides upon a desperate gamble - he will have to face the Son personally. With his demonic host to assist him, Lucifer makes plans to cut the Messiah down once and for all. Boasting that he will more than bruise His heel, Lucifer decides to destroy the Son from within his inner circle.

Unable to finish the battle at Calvary, Lucifer and his angels now deal with the fledgling Church that was born in great power of Pentecost. Lucifer tries hard to stamp out this spirit-empowered group of believers, including murderous persecution and subtle corruption from within. You are part of the angelic realm as you watch the Lord work through Peter, Paul, Stephen, and others to build a supernatural Kingdom.
