The Whisker Gang Series

The Whisker Gang is a group of furry friends who scurry about town doing great deeds for their community. Not menacing in the least, this critter crew—led by Polly the Persian Cat—teaches children the importance of acceptance, not judging a book by its cover and friendship...as evidenced by the inclusion of their new non-whiskered human buddy Jax!

When times get tough or a task seems too difficult to complete, The Whisker Gang teaches young listeners that we have everything we need within us to achieve our goals and overcome any obstacles in our way, if we just keep trying and believe in ourselves.

Polly, the crew, and Jax come in contact with a bunch of bullies known as The Reptilian Squad. When the menacing members of this squad threaten to keep The Whisker Gang from having fun at their favorite playground, the furry friends and Jax give young listeners advice on things you can do to keep yourself and the kids you know safe from bullying.

Swimming is lots of fun for people of all ages, and children especially love getting in the water and enjoying themselves. So when the whisker gang learned that their best buddy Jax didn't know how to swim, they sprung into action to teach him!

In The Whisker Gang Eats Healthy, Jax realizes that getting his furry friends to eat well can be an uphill struggle. The same can be said for parents and their children. Factor in your own hectic schedule and it’s no wonder so many kids’ diets are built around convenience and takeout food. But switching to a healthy diet can have a profound effect on your child’s health, helping them to maintain a healthy weight, stabilize their moods, sharpen their minds, and avoid a variety of health problems.

In The Whisker Gang’s Winter Adventure: Finding Friendship on the Ice, Jax and the gang decide to visit a local ice-skating rink during winter break. This is Jax’s first time, and he discovers that ice skating is more slippery than he thought it would be…and maybe a little embarrassing. But with the help of a newfound friend, Jax learns that he doesn’t have to glide into skating perfectly. As long as he is willing to get back up and try, try again, he can HAVE FUN while learning!

The Whisker Gang helps Jax have fun in school by encouraging him to participate in various activities, socialize with friends, and making sure he’s prepared every day.
