Shadows of Olympus

Every year our town celebrates Eros, god of desire, in a special festival. But this year there’s to be a pageant like never before, and out of all the girls in Sikyon, I’ve been chosen to play the part of Aphrodite. They tell me it’s an honor… but I'm about to find out it's a curse. When our tribute goes disastrously wrong, Aphrodite demands a sacrifice... and that sacrifice is me. The king's men bind me to a cliff and leave me there to die. But then a mysterious stranger intervenes, and offers me my life back, for a price. A high one.

Atlantis. They say the gods walked there once. They say they walk there still. An island so rich, men have fought over it for centuries. But those are not the riches I am interested in. I have reason to believe my family — the father and sister I once thought dead - have found shelter there as refugees. I've heard Atlantis is impossible to reach these days, that it is a kingdom steeped in treachery, ruled by a tyrant. But no matter the risk, I know I'll stop at nothing to get there. It's not just kings we have to fear, though. It's gods.

Fleeing the horrors of Atlantis, Psyche and her lover, the fallen god Eros, have made a new home for themselves far from the watchful eyes of the gods… or so they think. But when a group of raiders attacks the peaceful valley, it’s clear that they’ve been discovered. When they learn that Eros’s blood-hungry brother, Deimos, has disappeared from Olympus, it’s not hard to connect the dots. Meanwhile Olympus is in uproar over Deimos’s disappearance: he has stolen the First-Forged Blade, the adamantine knife that Zeus uses to maintain his power.
