Rebekah - Girl Detective Goes to Summer Camp

Rebekah Daniels is the best girl detective in all of Curtis Bay, and this summer, she - along with her best friend and cousin - are going away to summer camp! When the camp counselors warn the kids to stay away from a certain shed, of course Rebekah cannot possibly help being curious about what's inside. Rebekah is determined to solve every last mystery at summer camp, starting with the strange sounds coming from one very secret shed.

Summer camp is in full swing and Rebekah is on the lookout daily for a mystery that needs solving. Currently, she's obsessed with staking out the lake and the rumored monster that may live there. When she spots a lone canoe with something strange within it, her thoughts grow wild with ideas about what this could mean and how it is that the canoe keeps disappearing. 

There's a new girl at camp and Rebekah's mind and detective's notebook are filled with questions about her. Natasha is very mysterious and she certainly does not seem interested in making friends any time soon. And what's with that blood-red liquid that she drinks every day? Could she really be a vampire? Rebekah is determined to solve this mystery, even if she might feel slightly scared around the strange girl.

Rebekah and friends notice many things when they are playing hide and seek in the woods. When best friend Mouse stumbles into a giant paw print, the size of it shocks them. And when another camper starts telling stories about the camp beast, Rebekah is more determined than ever to see this creature for herself. Even if the idea of it does leave her a little weak in the knees. 

What would summer camp be without a good case of poison ivy? When Rebekah's best friend, Mouse, can't stop itching his arm, she insists that he needs a visit to the nurse's cabin. While inside, she can't help but notice all the strange bottles and the smell! Good grief! The smell of the stuff she puts on the camper's ailments is disgusting. Rebekah may have thought the day's events odd but not too mysterious until she saw the glow... That's when everything changed, and she knew that she had another mystery on her hands.

Disaster strikes at camp when the marshmallows go missing! The campers have been looking forward to making s'mores around the campfire all day. When one of the young campers is accused of taking the treats, this doesn't sit well with Rebekah, and she's forced to ask questions. There's a mystery to be solved here, and she's determined to find out who or what has been taking things from the camp.
