Alex Rogers Adventure: Ranger Series

Alex discovers he has been dropped in the middle of an ancient struggle for power, in a land where magic replaces science. If he can survive the near future, he has the potential to become a great wizard, feared by the very people he needs to protect. 

Alex Rogers is a young, intelligent workaholic who jumped from high school to college to a technical career with little time for a personal life. With his dog Kinsey, he pursues his only vice, wandering in the wilderness areas of Washington State, dreaming of adventure. Without warning, he and Kinsey find themselves in an unfamiliar land, unable to speak the language and fighting for their lives.

As the newly appointed Lord Protector for Windfall and Mage Apprentice to the Wizard King of Great Vale, Alex Rogers had taken the role of a lifetime. Combined with his pending marriage to the half-nymph Lady Cassandra, he had more on his plate than he could ever hope to accomplish anytime soon. However, a message intended for the dead Prince Renfeld, one exposing a dastardly plot, had been dropped in his hands.  

After vanquishing Tantalus and freeing the dragons, newly married Alex Rogers was looking forward to some time alone with Cassie, his wife. The two even talked of a little getaway for a honeymoon before he returned to his duties as Lord Protector of Windfall. Unfortunately, the forests and cities of his old home was not the destination he hoped for. Awakening in the same woods that had seen him transported to A'nland, he was in the company of his three companions, however none spoke a word he understood. In a land without magic, Alex must find a way to get his wife and friends home. 

Newly crowned Wizard King of the North, Alex Rogers, has a real mess on his hands. The surprise successor to the vanquished Vassal King Ailmer, he inherits a kingdom in shambles. Bankrupt from the looted treasury and past mismanagement of the northern kingdom, he must find a way to restore prosperity in a place where almost no one seeks his involvement. Besides the financial woes, he is besieged by the Lords of Gundor, all seeking a return to the days when there was no central kingdom and the Lords themselves ruled unchallenged on their holdings in the Gundor Valley.
