Vláda zvířat ctí posvátných sedm přikázání, z nichž nejdůležitější je to sedmé – Všechna zvířata jsou si rovna! Jak se ale ukáže, některá jsou si rovnější… Bajka, která byla dokončena v roce 1944 se s odstupem času stala kultovním dílem, které nastavuje zrcadlo všem podobám diktatury.
