Zwischen Schuldgefühlen, Erinnerungen und dem Unerklärlichen entspinnt sich eine stille Tragödie über das Verdrängte, das wiederkehrt. Mit Ein Doppelgänger widmet sich Theodor Storm der dunkleren Seite seiner Erzählkunst. Die Novelle, erstmals 1886 veröffentlicht, ist geprägt von innerer Spannung, geheimnisvoller Atmosphäre und psychologischer Tiefenschärfe.

In Eine Halligfahrt besucht der Erzähler seinen alten Vetter auf einer abgelegenen Hallig – einer kleinen, nordfriesischen Insel im Meer.
