As a passionate teacher of the game, Pacini also enjoyed a successful 28 year career as a collegiate head coach and currently serves as a goalkeeper coach at the collegiate level. In addition to his coaching endeavors, Pacini is a successful broadcaster where he hosts the podcast - GP Soccer Podcast and Direct Kick on WMEX AM 1510 in Boston. Verga narra la vita pericolosa dei pescatori, la solitudine dei giovani pastori, i drammi quotidiani in una miniera e la gelosia omicida di un contadino siciliano. Giovanni Verga (1840-1922) fu un autore italiano. Considerato il maggior esponente della corrente letteraria del verismo, portò la letteratura italiana in una direzione più naturalistica. Nato e cresciuto in Sicilia, si trasferì a Milano nel 1872, dove scrisse "Vita dei campi".

On November 11, 1943, the Nazis invaded Cansano, forcing its two thousand inhabitants to make a tough decision—fight and be killed or sent to a POW camp, stay behind as servants to the Nazis, or move into the unforgiving mountains of Abruzzo while the Nazis used their village as a home base. Giovanni Ruscitti's family chose the latter and spent the next few months living in horrendous winter conditions in the rugged mountains. When the war ended, they returned to a village so ravaged by the Nazis that, today, the town has less than 200 citizens and remains in a dilapidated state.
