Only, this time things didn't go as planned. This time, as I was delivering my criminals to be placed in the Abaddon Asylum, everything fell apart when an uprising tore down the system and led to my ship exploding before I could get out of there. Now it's up to me and some sexy lady allies (and then some!) I've teamed up with along the way to put things right. But we're not just going to stop the uprising. Our mission goes much deeper than that, into the planet itself where all manner of horrors await.

Book 3 left us on a cliffhanger, when in the middle of a superpower-infused battle with the CBGs, Mother took control of Dorian Gray’s mind and had her teleport Gideon and an unconscious Stella to the middle of nowhere in an empty Nevada desert. Well, nearly empty. It turns out that "the middle of nowhere" happens to be the home of a man Gideon has never met, but who is inextricably tied to his fate.

Jack, Lex, Haylee, and a young hero with a unique class on loan from Ivyset Crag go on an odyssey to explore the unreachable tower on the furthest edge of the map. With no dock listed on any system interface, the NPCs of Mother Sana design a custom boat built out of logs, fruit, and indestructible equipment drops to make the trip.

Divorced and working as a security guard in Portland, 73-year-old Carl is attacked by an unknown creature before he is able to taser it to death. After being released from the hospital, he discovers that he is unwittingly acquiring DNA samples from other people he touches. He discovers a number of shocking facts about himself when a blue box appears in his right eye. His health is nowhere near what he assumed it would be. Can he reverse the negative aspects of his health using these blue boxes? And can he reverse his poor financial situation after his wife took half his pension?

So much darkness. At least it made hiding easier. Daniel and his group of close friends barely made it away from the mob and their underhanded allies among the Cabal. Now, they were hunted prey, forced to ditch their beloved floating castle in order to find a place to hide. But where could you possibly hide when the Dawnlight Forest would soon be teeming with people looking for you? That’s right. Underground. Quite literally.

Jack, Kate, their parents, and pet cat Bruce Lee the Scar-Faced Ninja Attack Kitty from Japan Who Smells Like Poop went to bed one night like normal. But when they woke up, everything was not normal. They had been pulled into the kid’s favorite video game: Minecraft! Mom and Dad don’t know anything about this strange new world they must learn to survive in.

The king and queen set out with an enormous party of heroes and townsfolk to balance the burgeoning Kingdom of Blackmoor and visit a neighboring town in unknown lands. Far from home, Jack will face new challenges both inside and outside of Subroutine Sana’s Towers that test his ability to lead and make wise decisions.

Breaker is an Elder of the Citadel. A top-level superhero at a point in his life where settling down makes sense. He and his team of super-hot super ladies are the only ones who can possibly make it through to the other side. It's up to them to find the last Per-Neters and put an end to the enemy's push to take over the universe. What they find on the other side, they never could have expected. And the path that it puts them on is certain to answer more questions than they knew they had to begin with.

He could have been way worse off. Sure, Daniel was stuck in-game as the local bard of a quaint village, but people were nice, the quests juicy, and the lore intriguing. Even so, with the mob on the look-out, Daniel would soon find himself sorely tested to avoid detection.

Why would I put my life on the line over and over when I have everything I could possibly want? Hell, my superpowers have reached levels previously incomprehensible to me. My brother and parents are in my life, and the position of Elder at the Citadel is in my grasp. I have Charm with her foxy ways, Twitch with her ability to reprogram even our powers, the terrifying beauty that is Andromida, my curvy tempest Gale, Aegriss with her hacker abilities, and of course there's Shimmer who can unlock a whole new world of possibilities with her illusions - both in battle and in the sheets.

Success beyond my wildest dreams? Too bad I wasn't able to fully enjoy it. No time to sit back and watch the fame roll in when you're being hunted by superpowereds and a private military force. Still, everything was going according to plan. Grace, Veronique, and I were headed south. Our target? The secret government facilities scattered across the country. The second installment of Mutants in the Making was nearing completion, ready to be published any day now. Things were tense, but all was well. I wish they would have stayed that way....

The Roth - a lizard-like warrior race - has nearly wiped humanity from the face of the universe and are on the way to finish the job. The test pilots have just seven days to train and prepare themselves.

Carl thought his life was on track until disaster struck. Now he looks like a 35-year-old and is out of points, so he needs to scramble to change the situation before anyone finds out the truth. The question is, what should he do next? Buy more businesses, or focus on his love life? And always in the background is his family, wondering what happened to their father and grandfather and if he will ever talk to them again. Follow Carl as he discovers new ways of living when he is nearing the end of his own life.

Gideon and the ladies continue their uphill battle against Mercsecure, and along the way, bust even more super ladies out of The New Mexico Facility high-security research lab to join the fight, including the speedy, motor-mouthed Michelle.

The NPCs in one small corner of the map now seek their own path instead of remaining content with what they were born knowing. While some choose to look inward and explore themselves, others reach outward into new lands and untapped resources. However, many more mysterious corners remain where a cosmic infection that abhors such displays of self-consciousness still twists and writhes throughout Mother Sana.

Double, double, bard in trouble. Mob will catch him in a couple... Okay, the mobsters looking for Daniel still hadn't found him. That was the good news. Bad news? The net was tightening - and Daniel was running out of places to hide inside the Dawnlight Forest in the World of Chains. His skills and achievements as a bard did not help avoid attention - quite the opposite, in fact.

Death doesn't come easily for Muerta, but we’re determined to stop her - even if we have to tear down the Abaddon Asylum and the whole damn planet in the process. But, it turns out, she's not alone. As we pursue her across the planet, we learn she's here for someone...and that her escape is all part of a much bigger plan. Tensions are high among the team.
