Hall’s latest case involves a woman who’s receiving threatening notes - though as soon as he’s hired, the woman turns up dead. But that’s not the end of the case for Hall. Even though his client is dead, that won’t stop him. He’s going to get to the bottom of this case and find out who the murderer is.

Hall is lured into a trap, then rescued by an old acquaintance. That same acquaintance also helps Hall get his next job. It’s nothing but a simple blackmail case. Hall’s on his first official case after becoming a private investigator. It’s supposed to be a simple, and boring case. All he had to do was follow a cheating husband and take some pictures. But for him, things are never that simple. He quickly gets swept up in a murder case, which leads to the name of an out-of-town hitman. As Hall investigates and tries to find the elusive hitman, more bodies pile up, and the name of one man keeps entering the picture. A man named Ripper who’s behind it all.

Rich Mallette is still a menacing force, and he's still got Jacobs first on his hit-list. Complicating matters is that Wilson Ames is in the city trying to occupy the spot that Mallette once held. But there's not enough room for everybody, and nobody is safe.

Frustrated that his organization is crumbling while he’s in prison, Mallette starts getting desperate. Willing to do anything to get the former detective out of his life, and further drive him into a hole he can never recover from, Mallette orders the kidnapping of the kids of Jacobs’ brother. Fearful that the kids might end up like the rest of his family, Jacobs frantically searches the city to find them before they end up in the cemetery. With time growing short, and Jacobs knowing that his enemy is willing to do the unthinkable, Jacobs enlists the help of unlikely allies.

Recker finally reaches his boiling point and confronts Jones about his lack of progress in finding Agent 17. The professor, feeling guilty about not locating him, admits to a secret he's been hiding. As Recker is trying to find Agent 17, Mia launches her own investigation into her friend's death, frustrated that the killer still hasn't been brought to justice. Her lack of experience causes a major mistake - one that may cost the life of both her and Jones. Recker must not only find Agent 17, but save the lives of his friends before it's too late.

Bridge and Nicole are hired by a woman who's lost her gold coins. They follow the man that took them down to South America, where he intends to sell them to the highest bidder. Things don't quite go according to plan, though, as they run into the con man before he's able to rid himself of the coins. It becomes a cat-and-mouse game between Bridge and the con man, who acts more like a friend than a foe. Can Bridge and Nicole take the coins before the man can get rid of them? Or will they have to alter their plans if they're unable to stop him?

Bridge and Nicole are given a job by Eric Happ. And like most jobs that are assigned by the government, there is more than meets the eye with this one. Their assignment seems simple enough at first. They just have to take out a man in Venezuela, who’s trying to start his own criminal empire down there. But the simple assignment will quickly become more complicated as unfriendly faces recognize Bridge, which could throw the whole job into chaos.

Though it’s not usually the type of case Bridge accepts, he eventually agrees. Bridge and Nicole will have to find what country the man fled to in order to bring him back to face justice. And to do that, Bridge has to resort to unorthodox methods, including… fighting in an underground fight club?!
