Veeti on jälleen vauhdissa Kuten kaikki jo tietävät, Veetillä riittää ideoita. Koulussa ja leikeissä niitä usein tarvitaankin, ja Veetillä on tosi hauskaa naapurinsa Vernan ja muiden kavereiden kanssa. Veeti pelaa jalkapalloa, juhlii syntymäpäiviä, haaveilee lemmikistä ja pukeutuu Halloweenin kunniaksi, aivan kuten muutkin lapset. Veetin kohdalla asiat vain kehittyvät välillä hieman eri suuntaan kuin oli tarkoitus.

Täältä tulee Veeti! Oletko koskaan kuullut pojasta nimeltä Veeti Eemeli Eskelinen? Veeti on ihana lapsi, joka pitää makaronista ja jauhelihakastikkeesta, lastenohjelmista ja kavereiden kanssa leikkimisestä. Veeti asuu yhdessä äitinsä, isänsä ja isosiskonsa kanssa kauniissa keltaisessa talossa paikassa, jonka nimi on Vilkkala. Veeti viihtyy varsinkin naapurissa asuvan Vernan kanssa ja yhdessä he keksivät vaikka minkälaisia seikkailuja ja leikkejä. Valitettavasti aikuiset eivät aina pidä Veetin leikeistä, eikä kaikki välttämättä suju ihan Veetin suunnitelmien mukaan...

Vilkkalan Veetin ihana joulukalenteri Oletko koskaan miettinyt, onko tonttuja olemassa? Ja jos niitä on, voiko niitä nähdä? Entä miten voisi rakentaa tonttuansan? Veeti pohtii näitä kysymyksiä erityisen paljon tänä jouluna, kun hän on siirtynyt eskarista ensimmäiselle luokalle. Myös hammaskeiju mietityttää Veetiä, sillä häneltä on irtoamassa maitohammas. Lisäksi Veeti oppii viemärissä asuvista krokotiileista ja saa tietää, mitä pitää tehdä, jos eksyy joulutivoliin. Lisäksi kirjassa kerrotaan tietysti siitä aivan erityisestä joulukihelmöinnistä, joka tuntuu vatsassa.

Eskari odottaa! Veeti on innoissaan aloittamassa eskarin. Eskari on vähän jännittävä, mutta ainakin sitä varten saa uuden, hienon repun. Veetiä jännittää myös äidin mahassa kasvava vauva. Veeti oppii pian, että eskarissa saa tietää esimerkiksi dinosauruksista ja kirjaimista. Lisäksi sielläkin on aika paljon sääntöjä, joiden noudattaminen ei aina ole helppoa.

Oletko valmis kuulemaan Veetin mahtavasta kesästä? Kesälomalla voi tehdä kaikkea kivaa, ja Veetillä onkin valtavasti ideoita loman varalle. Kaikki ideat eivät ole aikuisten mieleen, mutta aikuiset ovatkin vähän outoja. Kesän kunniaksi Veeti pääsee esimerkiksi Vernan kanssa kanoottiretkelle ja oppii, miten valmistetaan itse jäätelöä.
