Number six in The Eyes of Freya series, The Infamous Fairies of Fairystone is a prelude to The Eyes of Freya set in ancient North America when Asmodeus ruled the underworld. Lilith is fighting for her life as her baby is struggling to be born. The child's father, Aries the Archangel, has shunned her, so she ran right into the trap the evil Asmodeus set for her. The child is being cut from her, and this gives Asmodeus two children to carry on his evil, as Lilith is forever trapped to look on as her children grow eviler every day.

Mag stiffened her backbone before glancing up at the slight movement on the third-floor window: A woman, really only a shadow, stood behind the sheer flowing drapes. Mag felt the intense hatred of the glaring face. Shyly lowering her gaze, Mag realized the maid Dansie already hated her too. It had to be Dansie, for Joe said they were the only females there. Thoughts ran through her mind, "Just run, girl," as she hesitated to step up onto the porch. After that step she was obligated to go inside; but east to west, there are woods all around calling to her.
