I guess you could call my latest job interview a success. I got hired, and it's way beyond my wildest dreams. The pay isn't great. And the hours are pretty much 24/7. But there's magic. And a portal to a fantasy world. Those kind of outweigh the negatives. At first, I thought I was just testing the latest VR survival RPG, but I'm starting to think this might not be a game after all. The monsters are definitely life-like and capable of carving me apart on their worst days. But on their best days, I make them mine.

As an intern at the Crest City Museum, I was studying an ancient artifact from a lost civilization. Little did I know this artifact would thrust me into a world of shifters, secret histories, and beautiful women. Now, with the power of the Primal Talisman, I can transform into beasts. I'm not the only one who wants the Talisman. And some people are willing to tear up the city to get it. But if they want it, they’ll have to get through my fledgling clan and pry it from my cold, dead claws.

Sure, there are some good things (a whole lot of good things, if I'm honest), but now I'm attending not only one supernatural academy but two. Twice the classes. Twice the antics. Twice the women. Celestial Academy here we come.

I’ve been dual enrolled in both the Celestial and Infernal Academies for a few weeks. Things are going as you might expect: lots of training, lots of learning, lots of late night sessions in my subspace with my girls. But this brief period of normalcy couldn’t last long.

After discovering a magical world beneath the ordinary and building my own deck, I've made a few enemies. Chief among them is Wilson, a kingpin who's well-protected and secretive as hell. To ensure I don't become another victim of the Game, I'm starting my own guild of players. Then, it's hunting unique cards and unlocking their hidden abilities. All the while, I'll have to juggle my budding romances with a beautiful knight and a wily assassin. And those two are bound to be only the beginning of my adventures with female players.

After the defeat of the Ogre King, all is well in Varglade. More elves join our settlement by the day, and it’s quickly becoming a town worthy of its people. But when the strange elf woman I had seen in the crystal ball appears in my dreams, I realize that this peace can only go on for so long. No doubt the Ogre King was merely the foretaste of worse things to come. If I’m going to protect the elven settlement I’ve grown to love, I will need to acquire more magic. And there’s only one way an amalgamage like me can do that....

Now that the wild elves have joined Varglade, it's a veritable elven party inside the village. In fact, it might actually be a town with our most recent additions. We're all working together to make Varglade a haven for elves of all kinds, but there are still others who need our help. Like the sea elves. They are trapped in their island home, and there's no way out or in. A powerful magical barricade erected by the blood elves has made rescuing them impossible. At least, it would be impossible...if I weren't an amalgamage from Earth.

Settling into the new pace of his life, Casey Sullivan thought that he’d left behind the idiocy of people with overinflated senses of self worth. But even on another world, around people that worked magic into their everyday life but owed their allegiance to the Norse gods of old, one truth remains: You can’t fix stupid. Thankfully, it’s possible to muffle the idiocy of people that he doesn’t want to deal with, as long as Casey keeps moving. All except for the bit of four-legged mischief that has decided to follow him.

Now that the dark elves have come to the hamlet, there's a lot of work to do. Firstly, I'm going to turn my magic to bolstering the defenses. Then we'll need to work on expanding the hamlet into a full-fledged town that's capable of taking on the ogre king. For that, we'll need to find more elves to join us. Good thing elves aren't in short supply in this world.

Second chances are rare, but after finding myself the sole survivor of a legendary dungeon and making it out with enough gold to put my feet up forever, life has been awesome. The town of Emberfall has been paradise ever since I arrived. Not only are my days spent enjoying my new home and the pleasant summer sunshine, but I get to do it all alongside Sophie, the stunning blonde mage from across the street, and Victoria, the beautiful demon-horned brunette lawyer from next door. Of course, giving back to the community is also on my to-do list.
