It is the beginning of 1918, the last year of the greatest war in human history, to date. All the belligerents stagger on their feet. Starvation is an ever present reality, while disease waits in the wings. In Russia, no longer a belligerent but, instead, rapidly descending into civil war and chaos, a lone family—Father, Mother, four beautiful young girls, and a brave but sickly boy—await their own fate, shivering and hungry in the dark, hoping and praying for salvation. Their relatives in England have turned their backs. The guards set over them do little but torment them.

Do we really need another podcast about video games? Of course we do! We will take an old gamers, new gamers and everyone in between and play games. We will start with games we have played, working our way thru new/old games and discussing our thoughts. Playing on as many platforms as possible.

Ils ont aligné une trentaine d’entre nous. Un des adultes, dont je découvrirai plus tard qu’il s’agissait du réalisateur, Chris Columbus, a longé cette ligne en demandant à chaque enfant quelle était la partie du livre qu’il ou elle préférait. Je me rappelle n’avoir pas été emballé par cette question. Les réponses fusaient, nettes et précises, Hagrid ! Crockdur ! Quidditch !, et moi je restais planté là à me demander quand je rentrerais chez moi. Ce n’est que quand le tour de mon voisin est venu que j’ai pris conscience de mon absence totale d’idée sur la question.
