The ancient Aris helped created nearly all advanced life in the galaxy. But they weren't alone. Now the long lost Children of the Aris have resurfaced, freed from their Quantum prison. And now, they're on a mission to reconstitute their race, supplanting all other life in the Milky Way. And to that end they need the mysterious Formation device. To get it, they've kidnapped the super mutants, Panur and Lila. Little do they know, Panur is no longer immortal and he will surely die if Adam Cain and his friends can't find him and Adam's daughter, Lila, in time. 

Everything is going great in the Milky Way Galaxy. Adam's immortal mutant alien daughter Lila is running the Expansion, and the Orion-Cygnus Union is experiencing its first period of peace and tranquility since its founding. Yet things are not as idyllic as they seem. A new alien threat has entered the galaxy, bringing with it a level of pragmatic barbarism unmatched by anyone in the Milky Way. Add to this, an ancient home-grown power has returned, curious to see the results of its three-billion-year-long galactic experiment.

As an eclectic band of heroes set out to rescue Adam's kidnapped daughter, Lila, everyone is asking what do they do when they find her? She was abducted by the three-billion-year-old Aris, beings who possess technology and genius far beyond anything in the Milky Way today. How does one fight against such technology, against such genius? In the meantime, the galaxy is being overrun by the invaders from Andromeda whose brutal gladiator-like contests are just getting underway...and with the Humans their prime targets. 

The war with the Sol-Kor within their home galaxy has finally begun, spearheaded by the revenge-seeking Hal'ic, whose massive fleet of warships is commanded by none other than Admiral Andy Tobias. In the meantime, Adam Cain and his gang are stranded on Kor, trying to survive the battering the planet is taking at the hands of the Hal'ic. But soon they'll find their way to Silana, the second capital of the Sol-Kor, where Queen J'nae has taken Panur, along with the prototype trans-dimensional starship the Star Panther. The very survival of the universe is at stake.

When last we left our intrepid heroes, Adam Cain had been taken captive by the new mutant queen of the flesh-eating Sol-Kor invaders, while his trusty sidekick Riyad Tarazi made it safely back to the Milky Way. Now Riyad sets out on a desperate mission to rescue Adam. His task appears impossible, as Adam is being held in another universe cut off from our own. The only person who can help Riyad is the immortal mutant genius Panur, who's disappeared somewhere in the galaxy with Adam's daughter Lila.

Adam Cain is a super Human, everyone's hero, the go-to guy when the galaxy needs saving. So why is he broke and looking to hire out his special talents just to keep his head above water? Don't misunderstand him; busting alien heads is what he does best. It's just that he thought those days were over after the evil Klin were wiped out. Not hardly. It seems his adventures are just beginning.

The Klin. It's a name that has invoked fear throughout the galaxy for over four thousand years. Now the evil aliens are back and more powerful and deadlier than ever. And this time it's the Klin against the entire galaxy, not just the species who have pissed them off. Leading an army of billions of killer robots and a fleet of invincible starships, the Klin are determined to be the last species standing in a war that reaches from one end of the Milky Way to the other. 

The Scorched Earth in the title doesn't refer to the Human's homeworld. Rather it describes the path of death and destruction that Adam Cain burns on his way from Earth to the planet Juir as he seeks revenge for the killing of one of his closest friends. But there's more. Sherri and Arieel have been taken prisoner by the Juirean leader, with a date for their execution already set. The aliens may have thought Adam was dangerous before, but they ain't seen nothing yet.

When Adam and Riyad journey to the planet Visidor to help free their alien friends Kaylor and Jym from vindictive local law enforcement, they thought all it would take would be wowing the locals with their celebrity. After all, they'd just saved the galaxy from the evil Sol-Kor menace. Now begins a wild adventure involving the most powerful galactic corporations to ever exist—stronger than any so-called empire—along with hordes of angry drug-runners and more, all in a desperate race to discover a secret that will alter the balance of power throughout the Milky Way galaxy—forever.

With the Milky Way galaxy engaged in a life-or-death struggle against the evil Sol-Kor Colony, Adam Cain and Riyad Tarazi are given the chance to end the war once and for all: Travel into another universe and assassinate the queen of the Sol-Kor. If their mission succeeds, it could end the war with a single stroke, saving trillions upon trillions of innocent creatures from the ravenous, flesh-eating invaders. If not... 

Adam Cain has pursued his nemesis Nigel McCarthy to the Milky Way's sister galaxy - The Large Magellanic Cloud - using the revolutionary technology of the concentrated-array gravity-drive. This is virgin territory for the Humans - an entire galaxy that knows nothing of the special abilities of the people from Earth.

With the ancient Aris service module Kanan out of the picture - at least for a while - there's a lot for Marshal Adam Cain to tend to within the Dead Zone. If Adam thought things were wild and woolly before, wait until he sees what happens in the aftermath of Kanan. Politics, terrorists, assassins, thieves, and more...I could go on and on, but you get the picture. And now, as Adam slowly builds a secret force of super agents within the ranks of Enforcers, they begin to take on assignments usually reserved for, well, supermen. Fortunately, the shoe fits.

Now meet Siri, a sexy, feline-like mutant whose special powers have made her the target of the two most powerful warlords on the planet Ellios.

Every crisis has its beginning. For Adam Cain, his greatest challenge began in The Lost Universe and continued through The Immortal War. Now his nemesis, Kracion, is the Destroyer of Worlds, blazing a trail of death and destruction across the galaxy on his way to total domination. Opposing him are the mutants Panur and Lila, who use Adam and his team as blocking pieces in their desperate game against the Mad Aris. That may be an effective strategy, but it can prove deadly for Adam and his friends.

In the continuation of their last adventure, Adam and his team have returned from The Lost Universe with the evil and insane Aris being Kracion close on their tail. Now the mission becomes two-fold: Warn the galaxy of this new threat, while also on a quest to find the artificial planet of the Aris in time to save Lila and Panur from being assimilated by Kracion, making him the immortal god he's spent three billion years to become. If he's successful, no power in the galaxy can stop him . . . except maybe an ex-Navy SEAL from Southern California named Adam Cain . . .

They once thought dark energy was the ultimate power in the universe. They were mistaken. And now a desperate race is underway to be the first to discover how The Formation helped create life in the universe. But with the power to create life also comes the power to destroy it. And that's when three Human friends from his past show up, offering him a piece of the action in an upcoming bank robbery. At first, he says no. But then the details come out. It's behind enemy lines . . . and it's a Klin bank they'd be robbing. As Adam Cain says, "This could be the perfect crime." Get ready for Kelly's Heroes in Space, as Adam Cain and friends embark on a hair brain scheme to rob half-a-billion energy credits from a Klin bank.

As the evil Klin continue their rampage across the galaxy, Adam enlists the help of mutants Panur and Lila to find a solution to the Klin problem. But time is running out. The deadly power of the Klin is growing exponentially with each passing day. And add to that the sniveling politicians from the Expansion and the Union who fear Adam's daughter Lila more than they do the Klin. Now Adam is up against enemies on both sides of the conflict, leaving it up to him and his team to save the galaxy—again. But this time he has some major brain-power on his side.

Having returned from the Andromeda Galaxy as heroes, the team soon learns that the remaining Nuoreans in the Milky Way aren't too thrilled with the fact that the Humans destroyed their homeworld of Nuor. Now they're going to make Adam and his friends pay for it. After placing an exorbitant bounty on the heads of each team member, nearly every creature in the galaxy becomes a hired killer. Although Adam's never been one to run from a fight, this may be too much for even him.

The alien with an attitude is back! But this time it's the new and improved Adam Cain, the cloned version in his revitalized twenty-two year old body. Even so, will it be enough to defeat the Klin, who have already conquered three-quarters of the galaxy and are only months away from destroying Earth? With the help of the mutants, Panur and Lila, Adam and his team are the last hope for the galaxy. Can the genius of the mutants and the "attitude" of Adam Cain save the day? Now they launch a multi-prong attack to stop the Klin, with only minutes to spare before Armageddon.
