In a near future, post-apocalyptic America, terror attacks, riots and insurrection have turned cities and towns into war zones... Professional security contractor and former Navy SEAL, Eric Branson, has been away fighting ongoing insurgencies in Europe when he learns his own country faces the same fate. Deputy Keith Branson and the rest of Eric’s family and friends are holding their own at Sierra Zulu, their hidden place of refuge deep in Louisiana’s Atchafalaya swamp. But enemy forces are determined to hunt them down and kill them in their quest to dominate the region and control the navigable waterways connecting the Gulf of Mexico with all points north. The growing militia consisting of new volunteers from a displaced and oppressed population are making a valiant stand against overwhelming odds, but will it be enough without outside help?

After moving her family cross country for a fresh start, therapist Nova Sharpe must decide. Will she keep her emotions and rage under control and live a normal, happy life? Or will she be tempted to kill again? Only time will tell. Meanwhile, Officer Maddox Hart, who recently returned from being stabbed in the line of duty, is rising quickly through the ranks. Now, he’s working on a series of deaths that seem accidental but are eerily similar. Is he overthinking it, or is something more sinister at play? Maddox can only hope to figure it out before there's another dead body on his hands.
