Even while Rich Mallette is in prison, he’s still calling the shots. Brett Jacobs may have taken out a dozen of his men, but he’s not ready to throw in the towel just yet. He’s still got a few things up his sleeve for the former detective, one of which is another heinous act aimed to destroy what’s left of Jacobs’ soul. While Jacobs battles more of Mallette’s Maulers, he also learns the identity of the second man who was with Frazier when his family was killed.

Bridge and Nicole take on a cold case, which quickly spirals into something more than they bargained for. A PI previously hired to look into the case mysteriously disappears. As Bridge and Nicole investigate, the clues lead them to the government agency they used to work for. The job takes them on several twists and turns, with Bridge and Nicole running into rogue agents, ex-spies, and a trip to Greece, where they will finally learn the truth about what is really going on.

There's a new criminal element in town, and they state their arrival by knocking off a few of Vincent's men. Recker and the team get drawn into the middle of it and start investigating to learn the identity of the mystery player. Recker and Haley get a tip about a high-level meeting of the new crew in an abandoned building, but all is not what it seems.

For all we know, or think we know, about Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Watson, what we don’t know is far, far greater. In the duo’s first case, A Study in Scarlet, we learn that Holmes and Watson met on January 1st, 1881, and subsequently moved into an apartment together at 221b Baker Street. Their first case officially began on March 4th of that year, and it is argued that “The Adventure of the Resident Patient” possibly took place in October of 1881, depending on which version of the story you read. But what happened during the rest of 1881? Or all of 1882?

Alex Parker is back and, along with her partner, Jim Cole, still on the trail of a rogue CIA agent. Their pursuit takes them all over the world. Every time they get close to nabbing their target, he manages to slip away. Just as they're about to nab Heath Davis in Brazil, Parker is faced with the option of either capturing Davis or saving an innocent person's life. She defies orders and is temporarily suspended. Once Parker returns from suspension, she's hot on Davis' tail.

Bridge and Nicole are hired to find a missing man and woman who stole company plans, and money, from the woman’s father. They’ll soon learn they’re on a time crunch, as the stolen plans are scheduled to be sold rather quickly. Their investigation takes them to Europe, where they have to sort through numerous false identities before they’re able to track their targets down. But before they find their suspects, they’ll have to battle several crime syndicates in order to get to what they’re really after.

While Theo Florakis still eludes him, Aaron Holt agrees to come back to the agency once his conditions are met. His first target, though, is not so easy. Mikita Bykov is a master assassin who has slipped through the grasp of every organization and agency that has ever hunted him. To accomplish his mission, Holt may need to enlist the help of a new friend that assisted him in Singapore. Together, they’ll try to hunt Bykov down. But will they find the assassin first? Or will Bykov eliminate them before they get the chance?

With Florakis apparently back in Greece, Holt heads there to find him once again. But Florakis isn’t going to let Holt find him that easily. In fact, Florakis has something else in mind. Going back to Greece wasn’t a mistake. Florakis deliberately schemed for this moment. He’s got other plans for Holt. And while Holt’s only got one thing on his mind, eliminating Florakis, the man who ordered his wife’s death has something else completely on his. Will Holt finally extract his revenge, and get closure for the man who was responsible for his wife’s murder?

As a scientist, Sherlock Holmes would have certainly been familiar with the famous dictum attributed to Aristotle: Nature abhors a vacuum. In that same vein, fans of the Great Detective must look at 1885 and 1886 and see a somewhat similar void. Conan Doyle set no cases during those years; in fact, if you believe Doyle, Holmes and Watson remained inactive for a period of some 30 months.

Having trouble with starting his own business, and with some nudging from Charlotte, Hall gets roped into investigating the death of a college student. While Hall and Charlotte uncover the clues, there is still the question of a mysterious mastermind who’s behind it all. What seems like an open-and-shut case quickly turns into something more involving hit men, an illegal prescription racket, and dead bodies piling up at an alarming rate.

After getting back from vacation, Recker finds himself with not much to do. With work in the city at an all-time low, Recker is approached by a familiar face. Michelle Lawson has a job for him in regards to an illegal arms dealer that has continuously given the CIA the slip. Feeling like he can trust her and work for the agency again for one job, Recker agrees to do the assignment once all his conditions are met.

What if the darkness of Lovecraft’s decadent New England overlapped into the Victorian era of Sherlock Holmes? The battle with Wilson Ames continues to rage. Jacobs worries about the safety of Tiffany, and her parents. Concerned about having a repeat of what happened to his family, he hires a bodyguard to protect them. Nathan Thrower, an ex-Navy SEAL, is the man Jacobs chooses. Thrower has his hands full, trying to thwart repeated attempts at their lives.

There’s a contract out on Brett Jacobs. He knows it has something to do with Mallette, but he keeps hearing the name of Harper. There are multiple teams of hitmen scouring the city streets for him, all looking for a chance at a big payday. Even Gunner now has a contract out on him.

As Jacobs becomes more at ease with his nickname and starts using his abilities to help others, he finds he is still not done with Mallette’s bunch. Or at least what they used to be known as. Lawrence Wiggins, Mallette’s lawyer, is found dead, leading the imprisoned crime boss to getting a new attorney appointed from New York. Only this one comes with caveats.
