Well, not really. But kinda. Bubba's hitting the road to to help a friend when Uncle Father Joe calls for aid. Bubba rolls into Orlando to help out the defrocked priest and his scientist/were-gator girlfriend, and ends up stumbling into something much bigger than even that giant lizard's cloaca! Somebody's hunting cryptids, and it ain't him, so he needs to find out what's going on back in them swamps, and why suddenly everybody is named Director Shaw?!?

Beauregard Ulysses Brabham is the moonshine-drinking, butt-kicking Great-Grandfather to today’s favorite redneck, half-baked, almost-government-agent Bubba the Monster Hunter. It seems there's a band of extreme religious zealots running around North Carolina, and their current target is a local event promoter who just happens the be the archangel Uriel in disguise. When Harker follows the evidence to the extremists, he uncovers a lot more than a stuffed offering plate.

Remarin is a thief. He was hired to steal a gem. No big deal, right? Yeah, right. He stole the gem, then everything went sideways, and now he's running for his life across rooftops, through sewers, and all over the godsforsaken world trying not to get dead. And who is this kid, Kit, anyway?

Rachel doesn't know what's weirder - that there's a dragon in the woods by her school, or that Scott Morrison actually thinks she's beautiful. Or maybe it's the elves. Yeah, it's totally the elves.
