The Napa Valley is known for its picturesque vineyards, but when a prominent local professor is killed while on a tour, Ophelia and Poppy are called in to help. Something smells off, and it's not the aging reds in the cellars. Step aside, Zodiac. There’s a new serial killer on the loose in San Francisco, and the police have enlisted Poppy and Ophelia’s help to get to the bottom of it. With multiple bodies already having been found, and the killer showing no signs of stopping, Poppy knows they’re racing against the clock to save as many lives as possible. The killer has made it obvious he's after attention, but once he realizes he's got Ophelia’s, he makes it clear he thinks he's a match for her.

An explosion in St. Albinus rocks more than just the town centre when the victim turns out to be someone from Maggie’s past. Mack pretty quickly decides the two of them have to find the killer, because the victim had a lot of skeletons in his closet—literally —and it’s going to take someone who was around back in the day to get to the bottom of this. Meanwhile, someone around town is spreading rumours about Mack, and she’s pretty sure she knows who’s behind them. And how come Aksel seems to magically be involved in every case Mack decides to investigate?

When a tourist is murdered in Ka'anapali, and it turns out he's someone from Rosie's past, Charlie is on the case. She needs to find out whether or not the man knew about Rosie's defection, or if it's just a coincidence he was killed on the island. And while the stakes couldn't be higher, Charlie finds herself butting heads with the FBI, at the same time as she's getting closer to Jake than ever. And she's not sure that's a bad thing. What appears at first glance to be a random attack quickly becomes more than that, and before she knows it, Charlie finds herself scouring the island for a murderer - with the help of Dot and Rosie, of course.

When one of Ada’s coworkers is found dead on the beach, and a friend of Ada’s is almost immediately arrested, she knows there’s something wrong. There’s no way her friend did this, and Mack immediately jumps in to help. Together, they have to prove Ada’s friend’s innocence before it’s too late.

Charlie is back on Maui and ready for some peace and quiet after her adventure on the Big Island, but the universe has other ideas. When a pod of dolphins alert a local fisherman to a man’s body out in the ocean, unquestionably murdered, his widow hires Charlie to find the killer.
