Every morning on her way to school, Scarlett sees Whiskers the kitten at the station. Whiskers is so sweet and always makes Scarlett smile! Then one day, the cat disappears. Scarlett is upset to discover that Whiskers has been run over. She needs a very expensive operation to fix her leg and her owner can’t afford the fees. Can Scarlett and her friends raise enough money to help?

Ava’s new kitten, Tiger, may be small but he makes up for it with his big personality and sense of adventure. As Tiger gets up to various escapades Ava finds herself coming to the rescue, even having to save the kitten from next-door’s dogs when Tiger climbs over the garden wall. But when the kitten disappears one night Ava has no idea where he could be. Meanwhile, Tiger is stuck up in a tall tree, cold and alone.

When twins Zara and Amina move to a new town and adopt a tiny kitten, they can’t wait to spoil her and play with her all the time. Jade adores dogs but she can’t have one because her father thinks her brother is too little. Then Jade’s dad sees an advert for local dog walkers and it seems like the perfect solution. They soon meet an adorable red Golden Retriever puppy named Milo and Jade falls in love with him immediately. Unfortunately, Milo’s owner is moving to Paris and can’t take him with her. Will the poor puppy have to go to a shelter, or could his new home be right under his nose?

Darcy is delighted her lively new tabby kitten, Charlie, is settling in so well – if only he would just wear a collar! Then Darcy is picked to join her school football team and suddenly she hardly has any time for entertaining a kitten. Charlie is bored now Darcy has no time to play with him, so he ventures over the back wall to explore. There he meets a new friend, a cat-loving lady who makes lots of fuss over him. Jack is having a hard time at school because he can’t read as well as the other children. One day, he visits the animal shelter with his sister and notices a nervous puppy called Daisy. He sits next to her while practising his reading. Jack keeps visiting Daisy at the shelter. As she gets more confident, Jack thinks she is ready to be adopted. But when another family takes an interest in Daisy, Jack is worried that he will lose his friend forever …
