The Renfeld's are a happy couple residing in a gated community of suburban Surrey. Mr Renfeld being a successful journalist with The Times newspaper in central London. Their life was one of routine with change unwelcome, that is until an extremely cold winter caused Mr Renfeld to speak in German only.
