Godric ist gerettet! Endlich können Holmes und Watson zurück in die Bakerstreet kehren und zusammen mit Alice, Eddy und den Kindern Ostern feiern. Doch eines lässt Holmes keine Ruhe. Was hat es mit dem Tod von Artus Brumby auf sich, der seiner Meinung nach im direkten Zusammenhang steht? Bald darauf muss Holmes auch noch feststellen, dass nun auch Watson wie vom Erdboden verschluckt zu sein scheint. Als Holmes wenige Zeit später noch eine Entdeckung macht, ist es um seine Contenance geschehen.
