This memoir is based on handwritten letters, cards, and newspaper clippings sent between Carole and Bill Wagener from September 1968 to August 1969. The vernacular is accurate to that time, using words that are no longer politically correct.

Alex knows exactly how many steps it takes to get from his home to Mason Middle School. This is normal. Alex knows the answers in AP math before his teacher does, which is also normal. Alex knows that something bad is coming out of the big screen in his special needs class. It's pushing images into his head, hurting him, making him forget. Alex pushes back, the screen explodes, and nothing is normal any more. Giant screen televisions appear all over the city. The programming is addictive. People have to watch, but Alex cannot.

Years ago, a weird mask of unknown origin and limitless power was buried in the cement of an apartment building's basement floor. Edge City and its residents have all but forgotten the mysterious green-faced killer known only as "Big Head." But now, decades later, the bizarre Tex Avery-style killings are happening all over again and are on a collision course with a bizarre political campaign where a homicidal maniac wants to "Make America Green Again"!

Assets of Inspiration is a collection of poems I started writing back in 2020 during the pandemic to encourage and inspire others during a tough time for so many. I call them poems but they are really pure inspiration and motivation disguised as poetry. Little did I know it would send me on a path to write 3 books. This is my original work that started it all. I am re-working the original writing and expanding it to be more than just poems but also diving into the assets we discover through adversity, challenge, and struggle.
