While digging around their school's backyard in search of an urban legend, Patsy Goh and her best friend Elena are whisked back in time to 1987. Patsy and her best friend Elena travel back to 1987 again to save Charlotte and her mum, who have been kidnapped by a member of the Midnight Warriors cult. As their adventure plays out, Patsy discovers she may also be a Keeper of Time!

When Elena discovers that she might not actually be a Time Keeper, and is instead a Midnight Warrior, she suffers from a deep identity crisis. Together with her best friend Patsy Goh, she once again travels back in time to her mother's teenage years, where she attempts to prevent her mother from meeting her father, in order to save them from a disastrous marriage. But can they really change the past?

The real story is about a young princess in China named Ra Pu Zel who doesn’t want to talk to princes or look proper. What Pu Zel wants is to cook and eat in peace, her long hair neatly braided to keep it out of her food. And when she gets tired of everyone telling her what to do, she locks herself in a tower with her dog Bao. Although princes from everywhere try to convince her to come down, it’s not until a young chef arrives with an intriguing food to share that Ra Pu Zel finally has a reason.

In ancient Chinese mythology, Nüwa was the goddess who created the universe. She was half woman and half snake. Legend claimed that she created human by kneading clay into her image. One day, heaven collapsed, the earth cracked and a flood occurred. A Black Dragon Demon devoured humans as they appeared and they were confronted with an unprecedented catastrophe.
