From being told by our families that "we have no reason to be depressed"; or being told "chaltha hai", "just pray more", and "work harder" when we are anxious; to dealing with nosy aunties and the pressure of taking care of elder family members - being desi is different. This show is about breaking the silence around desi mental health without being culturally tone deaf.
