Clyde Vallon has managed to carve out what he considers to be his own little piece of heaven in rural Montana. He only has to go into town once a month and usually only has to speak to one person during the trip. To the outside observer it might sound like Clyde is merely frittering away a lonely life, but it suits him right down to the ground.
