When Mr Gruber takes Paddington to Buckingham Palace to watch the Changing of the Guard, there are so many people in the way he can’t see a thing. Luckily, a mysterious someone ‘on high’ appears to like small bears…

As usual, Paddington manages to turn a perfectly normal outing into an adventure. Mr Gruber and Paddington are just about to be followed home by a crowd of eager tourists, when Paddington manages to lose them all in the maze. But, mysteriously, Paddington and Mr Gruber manage to escape from the maze unscathed.

Paddington and Mr. Gruber enjoy a day off from their duties as they set out to explore London with Jonathan and Judy. Each turn brings a new discovery, and Paddington's nose for adventure leads to the greatest surprise of all.

Paddington Bear first met the Brown family at a railway station–Paddington station, in fact. He had travelled all the way from Darkest Peru with only a jar of marmalade, a suitcase and a label reading ‘Please look after this bear’. Without further ado, Mr and Mrs Brown promptly welcomed the adventurous bear into their family, and in honour of their meeting place they named him Paddington. The Browns soon discover that Paddington is a most unusual bear. Ordinary things–like having a bath–become quite extraordinary when a bear called Paddington is around.

Having delivered a particularly stirring speech at his recently deceased colleague's funeral, Monsieur Pamplemousse is more than a little disturbed when the coffin explodes during the ceremony. Luckily, his faithful hound Pommes Frites gave out a warning cry just in time, so there were no casualties. But, who exactly is behind this explosion? And was the same person responsible for his late co-worker's demise?

Paddington is excited to be organising an Easter egg hunt for his neighbours. But, from finding empty supermarket shelves, to buying a box of broken Easter eggs, Paddington wonders if the hunt can ever go ahead. That is, until Mr Gruber’s book on Roman mosaics and some sticky marmalade give him a brilliant idea . . .

For Paddington, one of the nicest things about being a bear and living with the Brown family is being able to share their lovely garden. And though he may not have “green fingers”, the fact that paws and marmalade are never far apart leads to some unexpectedly colourful results during National Garden Week!

When the Browns find Paddington lying on the lawn, unable to remember where he is or even what the word bun means, they immediately realise something is seriously wrong and send for an ambulance. It’s Paddington’s first time in hospital, and the doctors and nurses soon discover that he is rather an unusual patient!

It’s Springtime again and Mr Gruber is taking Paddington down to the canal to join in the fun at the Spring Carnival. Hoping to win a boat ride for two, the friends enter the Busy Bee Adventure Trail. Paddington soon discovers that he’s very good at spotting things beginning with the letter B, but it seems that he’s not the only one with his eye on the prize…

Thursday the Mouse fell from a balloon having just escaped from the Home for Waif-Mice and Stray-Mice. The Peck family of church mice adopt him and give him his name – Thursday – because the day he arrived was a Thursday to remember. Thursday joins the Pecks in their organ-loft home at the church of St Mary's in the Valley.

Paddington Bear is getting ready for a Halloween party, strictly for family only. He can’t wait for the party to start – as soon as he gets home from trick or treating! But nothing goes quite to plan after Paddington’s mean neighbour, Mr Curry, invites himself to the party and spoils all the fun. Luckily, Paddington has a special Halloween trick that might just save the day!

It’s Mr Gruber’s birthday party, and Paddington is providing the entertainment. Mr Curry tries to spoil the fun, as always, but it’s Paddington who gets the last laugh.
