The people of 'Ad lived many years in the windswept hills of an area between Yemen and Oman. They were physically well built and renowned for their craftsmanship, especially in the construction of tall buildings with lofty towers. They were outstanding among all the nations in power and wealth, which, unfortunately, made them arrogant and boastful. They were not ignorant of the existence of Allah SWT (God), nor did they refuse to worship him. But they refused to worship Allah SWT alone. They worshiped other gods, also, including idols. This is one sin Allah SWT does not forgive.

Surah al-Fatihah (Arabic: سُورَةُ الْفَاتِحَة ‎) is the first chapter (surah) of the Quran. Its seven verses (ayat) are a prayer for the guidance, lordship and mercy of God. Surah al-Jinn (“The Jinn”) is the 72nd chapter of the Quran, with 28 verses. The name as well as the topic of this chapter is jinn. Similar to angels, the Jinn Race or Demon Race are spiritual beings invisible to the naked human eye. An-Nas is considered a Makki surah, meaning it was revealed in the earlier period of Prophet Muhammad SAW mission, during his time in Makkah.
