Il piccolo principe (Le Petit Prince) è un racconto breve molto poetico difficilmente etichettabile come libro per ragazzi. Scritto da Antoine de Saint-Exupery nel 1943, affronta temi come l'amicizia, l'amore, l'attaccamento. Accompagnato dai disegni originali dell'autore (che sono presenti nei tag degli audiofiles) e da una delle sue musiche favorite (il Notturno n. 13 di Chopin) il racconto evoca, attraverso un velo di malinconia, la gioia di un vivere pieno, senza maschere e schemi mentali dettati dal "mondo".

Antoine Marie Jean-Baptiste Roger de Saint-Exupéry1 (Lyon, 29 de junio de 1900 Mar Mediterráneo, cerca de la costa de Marsella, 31 de julio de1944) fue un escritor y aviador francés, autor de la famosa obra El principito, nacido en una familia noble de Lyon.El Principito habita un pequeñísimo planeta, que comparte con una flor caprichosa y tres volcanes. Pero tiene “problemas” con la flor y empieza a experimentar la soledad.
