Maven has been living for other people most of her life, doing the "right" things, even if those things have major consequences. She knows it's only a matter of time before she can be free from her responsibilities, even if change isn't in her line of sight, she yearns for it. We started the summer knowing being invited to the Festival of Desolation tour was going to change our careers and, with that, our lives. But if you asked me even just hours before our bus pulled into the venue if my love life was gonna become a thing, absolutely not. But it did. I fell head over heels, literally, for the rock god, Jared Finch. Who knew face planting would be the beginning of my life changing...in more ways than one.

I can say all my dreams have come true. I've not only met and fell in love with the man of my fantasies, Alex Austin...but he loves me back. On top of that, my goal of becoming a 'famous' musician seems to also be a thing. As much as I want this, I do fear our new fame is a result of my relationship with Alex. That the bands only known because of who the members are dating, or because of ex-member, Mia, and her infamous behavior, or even my assault at the end of the summer tour.

I've always wanted to be a musician. Not necessarily famous, but the way I connected to music, I dreamed of people feeling that way about mine. Starting a band with my three best friends was a no brainer. No, it wasn't instant success, but it didn't take long for us to get noticed. There's not many all-female metal bands, and we understood that helped propel us into the industry. We wanted to prove we were more than eye candy and were an awesome band.
