In Hans in Luck, filled with humorous twists and turns, Hans trades one possession for another, each time thinking he's bettering his situation. The story follows him as he sets out from his master's after completing seven years of service. Initially receiving a lump of gold as wages, he ends up with nothing but a simple whetstone through a series of trades. The tale serves as a cautionary yet lighthearted reminder to cherish the simple joys in life and to be content with what one has.

The Valiant Little Tailor is a fairy tale by the Brothers Grimm, included in the first edition of 1812. It tells the story of a little tailor who kills seven flies at once and imagines himself to be a hero. As a result, thanks to his quick wits, he emerges victorious from any danger and marries the princess, receiving half a kingdom in addition.

A German fairytale, and one of the Brothers Grimm's famous collection, The Goose Girl tells the classic story of a pure-hearted princess and a wicked villain. Unlike many fairy tales, this villain is not an evil stepmother, or a wicked witch, but instead a servant, who sees an opportunity to take the princess' life for her own.
