This a handpicked collection of some of the greatest Christian stories ever written. When we speak of these works as Christian stories, we mean that each story has a powerful Christian message based on Jesus' teachings. Three of the stories are from Jesus himself. Others were written by devout believers like Henry Van Dyke and Johanna Spyri. Yet, one of the authors, Mark Twain, was not a Christian himself, but his story reveals profound insights into the teachings of Christ.

Becoming a friend and adviser to the king, Hank encounters Merlin, Lancelot, Guinevere, and all the other characters from Arthurian legend. As he attempts to take on the task of analyzing the problems of their time, he tries to share his knowledge from the future in order to modernize, Americanize, and improve the lives of the people he meets.

The novel was originally titled "A Yankee in King Arthur's Court". Some early editions are titled "A Yankee at the Court of King Arthur". In it, a Yankee engineer from Connecticut is accidentally transported back in time to the court of King Arthur, where he fools the inhabitants of that time into thinking he is a magician and soon uses his knowledge of modern technology to become a "magician" in earnest, stunning the English of the Early Middle Ages with such feats as demolitions, fireworks and the shoring up of a holy well.

Hank Morgan is a man from 19th-century Connecticut who, after having a head injury, wakes to find himself 1300 years in the past in the court of King Arthur of medieval England. The people of the time notice that he is strange yet knowledgeable, but due to his odd clothing and language, is sentenced to death but avoids it by knowing of a coming eclipse and tricking the nobility into thinking he himself blotted out the sun. King Arthur elevates Hank to a ministerial position and Hank goes about trying to reeducate the people.

"Tom Sawyer Abroad" is a novel by Mark Twain published in 1894. It features Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn in a parody of Jules Verne-esque adventure stories. In the story, Tom, Huck, and Jim set sail to Africa in a futuristic hot air balloon, where they survive encounters with lions, robbers, and fleas to see some of the world's greatest wonders, including the Pyramids and the Sphinx.

This audiobook is about a boy named Tom who gets into trouble but is also very clever. Tom is adventurous. Tom and some of his friends sneak away to an island while folks back home look for them.

Eve's Diary - Complete, written by the incomparable Mark Twain, was first published in 1905 in the Christmas edition of Harper's Bazaar. This charming short story is told from both Adam and Eve's point of view as they traverse their new world from the Garden through to the Fall and is said to be a love letter to his late wife Olivia Langdon Clemens who passed a year before it's publication.

The Adventures of Tom Sawyer - The fictional character's name may have been derived from a jolly and flamboyant fireman named Tom Sawyer with whom Twain was acquainted in San Francisco, California, while Twain was employed as a reporter.
