Das gilt auch für die Märchen der Brüder Grimm. Deshalb sind sie heute noch aktuell. Märchen sind Geschichten zum Weitererzählen. Die Kinder- und Hausmärchen der Brüder Grimm erschienen zwischen 1812 und 1858. Erst sammelten die Romantiker Clemens Brentano, Achim von Arnim und Johann Friedrich Reichardt lauter Liedtexte für ihren Sammelband "Des Knaben Wunderhorn". Dann sollten die Brüder Grimm ihr Werk fortsetzen.

Ein listiger Wirt stiehlt die magischen Gegenstände der beiden älteren Brüder. Der dritte Sohn holt sie mit Hilfe seines Knüppels zurück.
