After the most dangerous and wonderful month of his life, Carter’s time as a fugitive has ended. He and Allison can now return to Texas, his home, and visit his family without fear he’ll be arrested. Sadly, Allison’s problems remain. The alien bounty hunters have lost her scent... but they’re still out there. Still, Carter hopes to enjoy a reunion with his family and introduce them to Allison, the love of his life. Everything is working out great until Carter’s old girlfriend, Barbara Smith, ends up entangled in an alien conspiracy even more dangerous than the one he and Allison just escaped.
