This is the story of Medicine of One by Lomakayu. It is a story of shamanic nonduality, where this manifest earth helps return us to what is not many but one continuous web of consciousness. A web of life that weaves through rock and river, stone and star to the infinite east and the infinite west, the infinite south and the infinite north. It is the story of finding the truth north of our compass.

First published in 1910, this short book sets out the way you can become rich, using things like visualization, belief, and the law of attraction. If you believe in this stuff (and I personally do), then this is a good little book to reaffirm those beliefs.

The Hopi Currently number about 10,000 people. They are made of many clans each varying in their details of the stories of myths of their people. So this is not a book of the Hopi. It is the book or truth of a hopi or group sharing the same beliefs. They are a people who believe themselves to have a responsibility for keeping the whole world in balance by living in harmony at the center. So the failure of their imbalance is reflected in the world. This little book in fact begins with the last world being in a state of great imbalance and the strong intent to move out of that state.

As the human form, generally, corresponds to the human will, generally, so the individual bodily structure corresponds to the character, desires, will, and thought of the individual. Therefore the outer nature is nothing but the expression of the inner nature. This inner nature of each individual is what re-incarnates or expresses itself successively in various forms, one after another. When a man dies the individual ego or Jîva (as it is called in Sanskrit), which means the germ of life or the living soul of man, is not destroyed, but it continues to exist in an invisible form.

The soul must be eternal. Why? In the first place we see that the soul is not matter. It is neither a gross body, nor a fine body, which we call mind or thought. It is neither a physical body, nor what in Christianity is called a spiritual body. It is the gross body and the spiritual body that are liable to change. The gross body is liable to change almost every minute and dies, but the spiritual body endures through long periods, until one becomes free, when it also falls away.

This is the message of Shri Ramakrishna to the modern world: “Do not care for doctrines, do not care for dogmas, or sects, or churches, or temples; they count for little compared with the essence of existence in each man which is spirituality; and the more this is developed in a man, the more powerful is he for good. Earn that first, acquire that, and criticize no one, for all doctrines and creeds have some good in them. Show by your lives that religion does not mean words, or names, or sects, but that it means spiritual realization."

Since Yogananda’s Autobiography is now in the public domain and freely available on the Internet for download, I thought it might be very helpful to skeptically analyze a number of the more extraordinary stories within the text. When I speak of Jesus or any other character of Scripture, I am speaking of the personification of a principle, not of a person as you are or I am. The Bible records vision, and it makes no reference to persons or events which occurred on Earth. Unfortunately, people have mistakenly taken personifications spoken of persons - the vehicle that conveyed the instruction for the instruction and the gross first sense - for the ultimate sense intended.

We shall then inquire into the way in which thoughts are generated; in other words, how the intellectual storehouse is furnished with suitable materials. Apart from those ideas which seem to be ours by natural heritage, most of our thoughts arise from observation, reading, reflection, social intercourse, and travel. These will be considered separately and collectively. The next point is to know how to direct and control our thoughts.

The poet Kabîr is one of the most interesting personalities in the history of Indian mysticism. Born in or near Benares of Mohammedan parents and probably about the year 1440, be became in early life a disciple of the celebrated Hindu ascetic Râmânanda.
