My name is Abbigail. On the sandy beach, I pick up a big seashell and put it to my ear. I love to hear the echo of the ocean’s roar. Suddenly, the shell whispers one word, "Mermaid." I find myself swimming at the bottom of the ocean! My legs are gone. Instead, I have the body of a mermaid and a big smile on my face.

I learn how to give medicine to my brother and how to place leeches on his skin to suck out the bad blood. The doctors say there is no hope for him. But, I keep on caring for him. He makes a full recovery. I saved his life!
