Madame Jeanne Guyon was one of the most important figures of the 1600s-1700s, not only in France, but throughout Europe. The Reformation had ended nearly 100 years prior, but much of the world continued to believe that the common people could only approach God through priests. In the year 1904 a revival like the world has never seen before broke out in Wales.
