During a riotous, full-moon drum ceremony, Larry fell through a vortex and slipped into the sinister universe next door. It looked like his planet...except humans co existed with silent, brooding creatures known as troglodytes. The trogs seem harmless enough, and even benevolent, but Larry soon learns that they have a peculiar, sinister hold on humanity. Terrified, he realizes that there is no place in this world for him, and yet escape seems all but impossible.

The uprising of machine consciousness is beautifully terrifying and arouses frightening questions. To what desperate lengths will an android go to fit in? How will we cope with boredom after the machines solve all our problems? Can a robot go insane? Is Artificial Intelligence an existential threat? Are thinking machines our friends? Our enemies? Or both?

The alligator had a good life, but his neighbor was a little a**hole. His neighbor just happened to be a squirrel. Not all squirrels are a**holes, but this one was. What was the poor alligator to do? He did what anybody would do: went into his garage and built a 60mm machine-gun, a flamethrower, and a grenade launcher, with which to deal with the problem. Then, suddenly, things got crazy.
