The Humana Project is a global conspiracy mystery filled with all the "who done it?" anyone would want to listen to. In the business center and governmental centers of the United States, Valeska Vargas, the director of the GLOBAL OPERATIONS of the HUMANA PROJECT has selected two FBI agents to investigate why some of the small corner meat markets in northern Texas refuse to agree to a win-win scenario that is sweeping the nation.

Far be it for me to assume that I possess the power to cast a spell or imagine that a simple word could conjure images or tell stories or spin a yarn that would last a lifetime. With my camera, I can only take photographs of things that are real, things I see, and things that will be shared by others if they only look at them. "Walter, you old rascal," chuckled the barista as she placed the steaming cup of black coffee on the counter. Walter Shively raised an eyebrow, his eyes twinkling with amusement. "I've told you, young lady, it's not polite to call an old man a rascal," he said with a wink, taking the coffee in his weathered hands. The warmth was a comforting contrast to the chill outside, and he took a sip, savoring the bitter taste that brought him back to life every morning. The barista, barely in her twenties, giggled.

Alexander, Alex to his friends, sat on a wobbly wooden chair much too large for him. At his kitchen window, he spent time alone watching the raindrops slide slowly down the uneven window panes and fall onto the window sill. His childhood wrecked by turmoil and deprivation, was not unlike all of the other children in the coal camps that filled the hollers. The houses, nothing more than lap siding and rusting nails, held many dark secrets, many untold stories, and many hateful words.

From one side of the world to the other, the characters are polarizing either for or against the diabolical Pandora Project's ultimate goal. The story has expanded to include several new characters. Estelle, a server at the Main Street Diner, runs the show and keeps her customers happy while keeping an eye on strangers who happen in asking too many questions.

The Epiphany has brought the three adventurers to the doorstep of La Tulipan, the mystic time traveler. He in turn has provided an explanation of some sort to help the three understand what has happened, what is happening, and what is going to happen as they step onto the ledge of the time portal. Gustavo, the undercover agent has followed the three courageous investigators to Trenton, NJ, on the south side of town where his surveillance vehicle has recorded everything that has transpired between Sarah, Deb, Matt, and La Tulipan.

For the three adventurers and La Tulipan, access to the mainframe has been granted. The Entity awaits. Don, the NSA supervisor, is carrying the last piece of the puzzle back to his office; when put into place, it will complete the picture of the most sinister organization known to modern man.

Dr. Brody has resolved himself to become one of those who will open the secrets and reveal them to the entire world.

Echoes, the book, is a collection of dreams, memories, thoughts, and motivations--comments meant to inspire and encourage those who may have traveled the same roads. Echoes is a book that will be a continuing work as I add new memories and comments over the years for my granddaughter, Astrid. This collection is a gift to her to remember me long after I've ascended.

Uprising, the 13th novel in the Jackson Stafford series, has entered a critical stage where all of the rebellious employees of the Pandora Project are ready to revolt. Dr. Jennings has sought solace, the Watcher's Defector is finalizing his agreement with the NSA, Amanda, Dr. Brody, and Hank have successfully removed Claire Melbourne from the cryotube, and the senior armed guard has blackmailed Dr. Brody and is waiting for his money.
