Die Majestätische Dracht, ein von Außerirdischen erbautes und von einer KI namens Allwissen gesteuertes Raumschiff, fliegt sie mit einem Fünftel der Lichtgeschwindigkeit von System zu System. Doch dann beschleunigt das Schiff plötzlich – und anscheinend unaufhaltbar. Hat das Allwissen die Kontrolle über den Antrieb verloren? Oder verfolgt es etwa seine eigenen Pläne?
