Muhammad (peace be upon him) is the Messenger of Allah, and those who are with him, are severe against the disbelievers, and merciful among themselves. You see them bowing and falling down prostrate (in prayer), seeking bounty from Allah and (His) Good Pleasure. The mark of them (i.e. of their Faith) is on their faces (fore heads) from the traces of prostration (during prayers). This is their description in the Taurah (Torah).

The advent of the Prophet Muhammad SAW changed the face of the history of mankind in a manner that this world has never seen before. Since the first man and Prophet Adam (Pbuh) was sent down to Earth, Allah SWT sent many prophets and messengers to guide mankind to the truth and to the straight path. Soon after the deaths of these prophets, their followers deviated from the teachings and corrupted the religion of Allah.

Life is never a bed of roses. We suffer from heartbreak, pain, and calamity, any of which might drive us to depression. However, at times, depression can just be there for no specific reason at all, and when this happens, it is imperative we seek help for it. Allah SWT, the creator of universe, has revealed the Noble Quran as a guide for mankind till the end of time, giving us a guide to help us through depression. Some surahs of the Quran are valuable listening during depression and anxiety, as their meanings and messages can help alleviate depression, inshaa Allah.

Sūrat al-Fātiḥah (Arabic: سُورَةُ الْفَاتِحَة‎) is the first chapter (surah) of the Quran. Its seven verses (ayat) are a prayer for the guidance, lordship, and mercy of God. This chapter has an essential role in Islamic prayer (salāt). The primary literal meaning of the expression "al-Fātiḥah" is "The Opener", which could refer to this Surah being "the opener of the Book" (Fātiḥat al-kitāb), to its being the first Surah recited in full in every prayer cycle (rakʿah), or to the manner in which it serves as an opening for many functions in everyday Islamic life.

The blessed Chapter, revealed in Mecca, has 40 verses. The designation of the Chapter, denoting resurrection, derives from the opening verse. The chapter, as reflected in its title, mainly treats of the Day of Resurrection. It opens with an enumeration of the harsh and frightening incidents to occur at the end of the world and proceeds to make mention of the happy and sad appearances of the good and evil doers.

Surah Al-Waqi'ah ("The Inevitable" or "The Event") is the 56th surah (chapter) of The Holy Quran. Muslims believe it was revealed in Mecca (see Meccan surah). The total number of verses in this surah are 96. It mainly discusses the afterlife according to Islam, and the different fates people will face in it.

Surah An-Nahl (The Bees) is the 16th chapter (surah) of The Holy Qur'an, with 128 ayah (verse). It is named after honeybees and contains a comparison of the industry and adaptability of honeybees to the industry of man. Regarding the timing and contextual background of the supposed revelation (asbal al-nuzul), it is an earlier "Meccan surah", which means it is believed to have been revealed in Mecca, instead of later in Medina.

The surah begins by describing how on the Day of Judgment, the Earth will give off a terrible earthquake and "throw up her burdens". Through the inspiration of God, the Earth will bear witness to the actions of men it has witnessed. Yunus (Jonah) is the 10th chapter (surah) of the Quran with 109 verses (ayat). Yunus is named after the Prophet Yunus AS (Jonah). According to traditional Islamic chronology (asbab al-nuzul), it is believed to have been formulated or "revealed" before the migration of Prophet Muhammad SAW and his followers from Mecca to Medina, as such, it is known as a Meccan surah.

Surah al-Falaq ("The Daybreak") is the 113th surah of the Qur'an. It is a brief five-verse invocation, asking Allah SWT (God) for protection from the evil of Satan. This surah and the 114th (and last) surah in the Qur'an, an-Nas, are collectively referred to as al-Mu'awwidhatayn "the Refuges", as both begin "I seek refuge".

The Cow or Surah al-Baqarah is the second and longest chapter (Surah) of The Noble Quran. It consists of 286 verses. It is a Medinan surah, that is to say that it was revealed at Medina after the Hijrah, with the exception of a few verses that Muslims believe were revealed during the Farewell Pilgrimage, the last Hajj of Prophet Muhammad SAW. This is the longest Surah in The Noble Quran.

This 38-verse chapter was revealed in Medina. It is generally understood that Medinan chapters focus on the establishment of a functioning Muslim society. This one is no different and tackles several subjects, including war, what happens to those who try to prevent others from converting to Islam, and the futility of opposing God and his prophet.

"Surah An-Nur" ("The Light") is the 24th sura of the Quran with 64 ayat. The general agreement of scholars is that this sura was revealed shortly before or after the Battle of the Trench in AH 5. The sura begins with various explanations and decrees on or relating to corrupt sexual acts, family law, and specifications on the giving of testimony. Foremost among these rulings is God's punishment for adultery. This section ends with the pronouncement that good men and women should be paired together, as should corrupt men and corrupt women.

The people of 'Ad lived many years in the windswept hills of an area between Yemen and Oman. They were physically well built and renowned for their craftsmanship, especially in the construction of tall buildings with lofty towers. They were outstanding among all the nations in power and wealth, which, unfortunately, made them arrogant and boastful. They were not ignorant of the existence of Allah SWT (God), nor did they refuse to worship him. But they refused to worship Allah SWT alone. They worshiped other gods, also, including idols. This is one sin Allah SWT does not forgive.
