I am a romanticist, a dreamer, a positive thinker. I see the world as a place to flourish and do better. I am sure, we are here to love and to be loved. Love is what I look for in a sea and sky and star. Love is what I look for in all that things that are.

We all need to be reminded of what Almighty God can do. Whether you view this book as songs or “poems”, please let the words into your heart. It's okay to listen and cry, or listen and rejoice. As God gave inspiration for his Gospel songs, may the listeners receive inspiration, also. Whether one listens to songs of praise or songs with a prayer in them, let it stir you. With hopes that one's heart will be touched like never before, may one see God in this book. The God who is exalted wants to speak to people's hearts.

Flow of Soul Poetry is over 35 years in the making. My poems traveled to this digital destination on a long and winding journey, a rhythmic road of recitations and redos of poetic utterances by this broken down shell of a man, who is moved by your affirmation of emotional healing and release of soul-crushing pain because of them.

I am convinced that life spent wrestling with God will result in deeper insight concerning the meaning of life, and new wisdom the heart will long to share. Our Lord submitted to abuse and captivity, even to the point of death, to set his captive people free. Seeds of evil bear a bitter fruit.

In Touch the Earth, Drew Jackson continues the project he began in God Speaks Through Wombs, reflecting on the Gospel of Luke through poetry. Touch the Earth picks up in chapter nine and continues through the end of Luke's Gospel. Part protest poetry, part biblical commentary, Jackson presents the gospel story in all its liberative power. Here the gospel is the "fresh words / that speak of / things impossible."

Clarksdale, Mississippi, “The Home of the Blues,” sits just 60 miles south of Memphis, Tennessee. Ironically, although Clarksdale has a history tied to less than Christian ideals, it’s where many others and I got our Christian roots or upbringing. Just like the blues were played all over the place, so were the gospel songs that I helped sing in the youth church choir.

Poems inspired by bible study, along with a few personal poems written for new family and friends. All poems were written through the inspiration of the holy spirit, which helps us remember we’re in the same hands of Jesus that made Earth, and there's nothing that Jesus can’t handle.

Blood Aside I Take It Personal is a poem that details the trials and tribulations a person experiences while trying to start over in life after the betrayal of friends and family.

Through prose and poetry, A World Diverse is a personal account of David Edmond’s 34 plus year career in the Royal Canadian Air Force. His inspiration to pick up the pen came after the death of his wife due to complications from Parkinson’s disease. The opportunity to serve across Canada exposed him to a variety of personalities, and the chance to build strong friendships.

A satanic unction desires to rape and destroy all things good that will not give her power. She serves Baal faithfully week to week, hour to hour.
