Tre le sezioni di questo testo, in cui la prima si fa antefatto delle due successive: "Quel mio ritornare a te / da tutte le strade / per sottrarci da tanta morte". Fra le pagine una mappatura dell'anima che è luogo e memoria - "Ti tengo / nell'entroterra dell'anima / in un respiro di due sillabe", la vita come frattura in fiore su un muro: "la conseguenza del mattino / uno schianto in due tempi", e ovunque il frammento dell'esperienza restituito in trama: "nulla sappiamo della mano / che ci regge il giorno / a tremare / fra la memoria e la sete".
