Giants have existed on the Earth for most of Earth’s history. We are talking about going back hundreds of millions of years. There were also many giants on Earth in historical times when human civilization existed. There are even credible stories of giants existing on Earth in the present era, such as one killed by US soldiers in the mountains of Afghanistan. North America has had many sightings, and there are stories of wars with giants from the American Indians, as well as stories of cannibalistic giants who were killed by Indians in a cave.

The Russian scholar Nicolai Notovich was the first to suggest that Christ may have gone to India. In 1887, Notovich, a Russian scholar and Orientalist, arrived in Kashmir during one of several journeys to the Orient. At the Zoji La pass, Notovitch was a guest in a Buddhist monastery, where a monk told him of the bodhisattva saint called Issa. Notovitch was stunned by the remarkable parallels of Issa's teachings and martyrdom with that of Christ's life, teachings, and crucifixion.

In November 1972, the Coast Guard Cutter Jarvis ran aground during a violent storm in Alaska, puncturing its hull, with a temporary patch applied to stop the flooding.
