Der Diener Heinrich ist untröstlich: Sein junger, gutaussehender Herr, Prinz Eduard, wurde von einer bösen Zauberin in einen glibberigen, hässlichen Frosch verwandelt. In der Asche muss sie schlafen, die ganze Hausarbeit allein erledigen und nun darf sie nicht einmal mit auf den Ball des Prinzen! Dabei tanzt sie doch so gerne… Zum Glück gibt es da noch die geheimnisvolle weiße Taube auf dem Mandelbäumchen am Grab von Aschenputtels Mutter. Sie weiß immer Rat.
