How does wartime service change a person? Ernest shares his struggles with finding a place to fit back into the American Dream. Some, like the author, transition back into society very well in the eyes of the world, yet the demons deep inside are grappled with daily.

Dr. Gus Kappler was a trauma surgeon in Vietnam 1970-1971. In this series of podcasts Dr. Kappler discusses Post Traumatic Stress (PTS) and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) offering insight and suggestions on how best to work with our troops to help their transition from the military to returning home.
