The inspiration for this Poem, I think started writing initially after the title popped into my head. It seemed quite unusual and yet scintillating. I didn't really know where the 'road' was going to lead to.. I knew about 'out of Africa' for the human race, and realized that that was what I was aiming for. Many African nations where 'gifted' mobile phones or very cheaply from the old used stock in the early 2000's and that was the return point to Africa - Namibia being the early tribesman - their region being where humanity is supposed to have sprung from!

It seems as though the applications have not improved much in the way of features, while there is more pressure to register and buy subscriptions. Also, the software is largely proprietary and closed source, with tight restrictions on how it is used.
