As we look forward to gradually emerging from lockdown over the summer, we're reuniting some famous, brilliant, funny women for a remote catch-up, where they mull over the highs and lows of the past year. My mother passed unexpectedly in 2016. She was brilliant and hysterically funny but also suffered a lot. In A Woman Called Mother, I share the stories and scenes I collected from our time together, and also the stories and scenes I’ve been collecting from my present perspective since becoming a mother myself.
