Like millions of other kids, Jim grew up wanting to be a superhero. Unlike most of his contemporaries, however, Jim actually had the goods: a plethora of super powers that would have been the envy of any meta on the planet. But when his tryout with the Alpha League - the world's premiere group of supers - goes disastrously wrong, Jim basically becomes an outcast. Two years later, Jim is still bitter about what happened to him. However, he soon finds himself the centerpiece in an odd turn of events.

Having saved the distant world of Caeles and its interstellar empire - not to mention the life of its ruler, Queen Dornoccia - Jim (aka Kid Sensation), returns to Earth with two notable prizes. The first is his long-missing grandmother, the alien Princess Indigo. The other is Queen Dornoccia’s great-great-granddaughter, Myshtal, who is a princess in her own right and a budding superhero. And thanks to the machinations of the queen, she’s also Jim’s titular fiancee, a fact that puts something of a damper on Jim’s relationship with his girlfriend, Electra.

As the grandson of the alien princess Indigo, Jim (aka Kid Sensation) has always known that, technically, he's royalty. That said, he'd be the first to admit that he's never lived any kind of regal lifestyle - no titles, no castles, no crown jewels. However, the arrival of a courier from his grandmother's home world changes all of that in an instant. By royal edict, Jim is summoned home to the distant planet Caeles in order to claim an alien inheritance.

Taking on supervillains has never been a problem for Jim (a.k.a. Kid Sensation). It’s what he’s been trained to do, and he does it well. Completely intrepid in the face of danger, he’s never shied away from a crisis, no matter how difficult the assignment or how great the menace. But now he faces a task that even he dreads: hunting down his friend and mentor, Mouse.

Electra - the beautiful, unflappable girlfriend of teen super Kid Sensation - headlines her own adventure for the first time. A foundling adopted and raised by the Alpha League (the world's greatest superhero team), Electra has exhibited super powers since infancy. However, her past has remained a mystery for the most part, with those few people with any knowledge of her background being reluctant to talk.

Everyone needs help occasionally - even supers with amazing powers - and Jim (aka Kid Sensation) is no exception. Having previously received aid from a young psychic named Rudi, Jim feels obligated to return to the favor and rescue her from the federal facility where she's being held. But breaking into a top-secret, heavily-fortified government installation is never a walk in the park, especially when said installation has top-of-the-line security systems, trigger-happy guards, and its own team of formidable supers. It will take a bold and audacious plan to get Jim inside.
