She cleverly overcomes the obstacles, then runs back home with a bag full of cheese, reversing the journey. It’s a lovely story for listening with your young child at bedtime. The story has a rhythm, slight repetition, and a brave character who thinks on her feet, perseveres and brings the story to an happy ending.
